Chuppah Glass to Mezuzah Conversion.

The Process

In Jewish culture, when you get married, you do so under a canopy called a Chuppah. It is customary at the end of the ceremony for the groom to step on a glass symbolizing good luck!

The idea of this project is, I make the glass custom to suit your needs. It could be your wedding colors or the colors of your home. Then, you send me back the shards which I then re-melt into a mezuzah for your home!

Customization Options

Color options are almost limitless. In the past I've done both these short vessels and wine glasses for the Chuppah glasses.   We can discuss any options you have in mind for how you'd like the glass to look..

We believe that communication is key to creating great designs. Our process involves working closely with our clients to understand their needs and vision. From there, we create a customized plan and work diligently to bring your ideas to life.

Upgrade to Tree of Life Mezuzah

    Inspirational Bouquet

My last conversion kit, the client asked to upgrade their kit to something truly special.  I recommended my Tree of Life Mezuzah as a way to bring all the colors into their piece.  The bride had an autumnal pallet for her bouquet.  So I searched through the entire catalog of glass colors, to bring that same feel to their finished project

    FInished Poject

The outcome is truly incredible.  A symbol of growth. Jewish weddings are not just the union of two individuals, but the creation of a new tree in the family. A continuation of tradition, and blessings for life.

Take a second and watch the videos below to see just a glimpse of what goes into bringing pieces like this to life.

One of the greatest things about glass art as a medium is the user interaction that goes on with the art. In this interaction there becomes a bond. Memories, names, places, dates, all get associated with that particular piece. It has become B Money’s passion to facilitate this bond.

"My art today is inspired by my past. Growing up on Li, I soaked up its culture and all the things it has to offer. Family was also a major influence on my life and therefore my art. Both of my grandparents were deeply rooted in the Jewish faith. Once my skills caught up with my aspirations, I began to see how I can blend some of my Judaic upbringing with my modern art. It brings me great pleasure
